REFIS has the right to grade from the Swedish School Inspectorate.

We follow the guidelines regarding quality and documentation that are set thereafter.

Traditionally, the basic requirement is that you are over 20 years old to apply for our courses.

After you complete your training, you will receive a grade and, where applicable, an apprenticeship book.

REFIS works closely with all industries where we together develop the best education for each student.

In program councils, industry councils and other collaborations, we meet with both teachers and students, employer organizations, employee organizations and companies.

There we discuss structure, content and quality from both a business and school perspective.

You apply to REFIS through your home municipality, or via the web.

Ultimately, it is your home municipality that decides whether you can study with us.
All of our courses are CSN-eligible, which means that you receive a certain grant and a certain amount of loan (if you choose to borrow).

There may be circumstances that make you eligible for additional contributions.

REFIS follows the industry requirements required to conduct Komvux education.

REFIS is also approved according to the Swedish Educational Companies’ criteria for quality authorization and is certified according to ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management).

The training has just started and work is underway to display it on the website.

In the meantime, you can fill out this form  to receive more information about Komvux via SMS.

Validering

The HVAC industry validation model is used to validate professional knowledge for people who have previous professional experience and/or education as an HVAC fitter or similar.

The work may have been carried out either in another country or in a Swedish company that is not affiliated with the Technical Installation Agreement for HVAC & Refrigeration.

The purpose of the validation is to assess whether the applicant meets the industry’s knowledge goals corresponding to an industry certificate. An application for validation can be made by an individual, company or organization, the application is made via our website. When there are grades and certificates of previous experience, these must be translated into Swedish and attached to the application by emailing them to  kontakt@vvsyn.se .

The validation must be carried out by a professional assessor approved by the HVAC industry’s professional board.

The person being validated must intend to continue working in the HVAC industry in Sweden.

Validation within HVAC is currently being carried out in Katrineholm, Hässleholm and Stockholm.

The validation is divided into different steps, which step you start with depends on your previous experience.

An individual assessment is made as to which step the person who is going to validate should complete.

From January 1, 2023, validation applies to everyone who is not registered as an apprentice in KUB.
